En el episodio 12 de Atlas Aquática, la colaboradora y periodista gastronómica Raquel Villanueva, nos llevó al restaurante Tepeztlán, donde el chef Armando Calixto, dio cátedra sobre los pescados de temporada para la Cuaresma y compartió su secreta receta de pescado a la talla de Zihuatanejo, un delicioso e imperdible platillo.

Después en Inmersión profunda, se conversó sobre la trazabilidad de la comida marina: ¿Te has preguntado de dónde vienen los pescados y mariscos que te comes? ¿Sabes por qué es relevante la trazabilidad de estos productos? ¿Conoces qué son las cadenas cortas de valor? ¿Has reflexionado sobre el poder que tienes como consumidor  para apoyar a quienes hacen bien las cosas? Falta de transparencia, necesidad de cadenas de confianza, acciones de nuestra vida diaria que pueden contribuir a la salud de nuestros mares y la propia, fueron algunos de los puntos que plantearon desde su formación multidisciplinaria el Dr. Octavio Aburto, investigador del Instituto Scripps; la Dra. Micheline Cariño, investigadora de la UABCS y; el Dr. Andrés Cisneros, economista experto en sistemas marinos. 

Por último, en la sección A bordo, desde Suecia el ingeniero químico Rubén Juárez, explicó la contaminación de mares, ríos y otros cuerpos de agua debido a los humanos, quienes toman fármacos y sus cuerpos los desechan en aguas residuales con tóxicos y otros metales pesados que afectan al planeta y eventualmente regresan a la humanidad.
